Coming Training Dates

• Become an HKMAAL-accredited General Mediator: complete Stage 1 training and qualify to apply for Stage 2 assessment and accreditation.

• 40-hour, practice-focused curriculum delivered face-to-face over five full days: 10, 11, 17, 18, 24 January 2026 (8:45 am–6:30 pm).

• World-class faculty: Lead Trainer Dr. Christopher To (chartered arbitrator, barrister, adjunct law professor; former Secretary-General, HKIAC) and Assistant Trainer Josephine Ma (solicitor, HKMAAL Assessor, Vice-Chairperson of Hong Kong Mediation Council; District Court Master).

• Master core mediation competencies: interest-based negotiation, facilitative mediation process, mediator roles and techniques, ethics, settlement drafting, and the role of lawyers in mediation.

• Recognized pathway: certificate issued upon 100% attendance and passing the course-end assessment; then apply directly to HKMAAL for Stage 2.

• Language: Cantonese with English terminology; English-only course materials.

• Premium venue: HKIS Surveyors Learning Centre, World Trade Centre, Causeway Bay.
